Based on the student’s proposal, possible thesis topics include:

  • Modern Czech and world literature (especially English-language literature)

  • The relationship between literature, sound, and performativity (audiobooks, recitation, literary podcasts)

  • The use of drama education methods in literature teaching

  • Didactic transformation of literary texts into audio, performative, or multimodal forms

  • 2014–2017: Bachelor’s studies at the Faculty of Education, Charles University (double major in Czech Language and Literature / English Language and Literature, degree Bc.)
  • 2014–2017: Bachelor’s studies at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (field: Drama in Education, degree BcA.)
  • 2017–2019: Follow-up Master’s studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (field: Comparative Literature – General and Comparative Literature, degree Mgr.)
  • 2017–2019: Follow-up Master’s studies at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (field: Drama in Education, degree MgA.)
  • 2019–2024: Doctoral studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (field: Comparative Literature – General and Comparative Literature, degree Ph.D.)
  • January 2021 – July 2021: Research stay at The University of Manchester (scholarship from the Anglo-Czech Educational Fund – ACEF)

  • 2015 – present: Jury member at poetry recitation and theatre festivals (Wolkrův Prostějov, Dětská scéna, Pražské poetické setkání, Pardubické poetické setkání); pedagogical practice in the field of artistic recitation
  • 2016 – present: Multiple-time laureate of major awards at recitation festivals (International Poetry Festival, Poděbrady Poetry Days, Wolkrův Prostějov, International Zdeněk Fibich Competition in Melodrama Interpretation, Ministry of Education’s Artistic Recitation Competition)
  • 2016 – present: Conducting project workshops at primary and secondary schools on topics such as audiobooks, recitation, and presentation skills
